Announcement of the year!

LOMO LC-A LEGACY
It's been 27 years since the Lomo LC-A entered our analogue life and took our hearts by storm with its shadowy framing, super saturated colours, sharp contrast and multiple exposures. To cherish this little camera in the past we even plated it with gold but never before expanded its lens. Now the day has come and we are welcoming the new offspring of the Lomo LC-A Legacy: The Lomo LC-Wide, that will challenge your Lomographic perception. It is a passionate celebration of the ultra-wide-angle: Still celebrating the classical features of the Lomo LC-A+, the Lomo LC-Wide adds a new dimension of format frenzy to its specially developed ultra-wide-angle 17 mm Minigon glass lens. Switch from half-frame, to square to full format and enjoy a new quality of wide-angle Lomography!

GO EXTREME
Go close, even closer than your perception of closeness tells you to and watch your favourite caterpillar being sucked into the vortex of this 17 mm glass genius. Go wild, even wilder than your mother ever allowed you to and dive into Ultra-Wide-Angle- Lomography! To up the ante a little bit we equipped the Lomo LC-Wide with three formats to choose from: full-, square- or half- format. If you don't want to think too much while you are shooting, switch to half-frame-format and fit an amazing amount of 72 shots onto one roll of 36 shots film. Fans of retro will stick to the classic square format while panoramic shots are most effective on the full format.

ULTRA-WIDE-LOMOGRAPHY
No matter if you are hooked on breathtaking panoramic shots or if you are more the-closer-the-better-type, we designed the Lomo LC-Wide to satisfy lovers of all extremes. Its delicate 17 mm Minigon glass lens combines the classical features of the Lomo LC-A with an ultra-wide-angle that will open your eyes to an unknown extent. Follow your curiosity and let the Lomo LC-Wide take you into the wide! With all this options, the Lomo LC-Wide catapults you in a format frenzy that triggers unbeliev- able creativity and proves itself to be a trusty offspring of the Lomo LC-A Legacy.

A new blog series (camera reviews)

I have decided, that as I am not a massive beauty fan, writing a beauty blog is never going to be "my thing". Other than to tell you I highly recommend Elf shimmering facial whips, Boots 17 wild curls mascara and No. 7 lipsticks, I don't really have an opinion on anything else. So I am going to write a series of reviews on one of my favourite subjects - Cameras. And it is fair to say I have A LOT of them. At least 20, maybe more. I am only a beginner and pretty new to the world of film and analogue photography. So each week, to published on a Sunday evening I will review each camera in turn and show some examples of the photos I have taken on it. I hope you enjoy.

Made in Chelsea? Chelsea may as well be a million miles away

Goodness gracious I am just watching last night's first episode of "Made in Chelsea" and I am ot sure how much more I can take to be quite honest! I find it hard to take it all seriously and I haven't decided yet whether that is because the website (e4 on demand) says "some scenes have been created for your entertainment" or because they are ridiculous people. It is not even their names or the fact that one of them thought Charles Dickens wrote Winnie the Pooh, which a lot of people took to twitter to moan about last night. I think it is just because they haven't got anything to worry about, they never have and they never will. I suppose that makes it jealousy on my part but whatever, I guess I am jealous. I can't be doing with people who have no purpose in life other than to massage each others massive egos! They don't have jobs - unless you class socialite, events, one-off singer and blog writing lady as real jobs, which I do not. They just seem to float around being rich and talking about shit. I don't think I will be tuning in again as I didn't even make it to the end of the episode.

Roll on "The Apprentice". . . . . . .

The saddest day of the year for me

The saddest day of the year always falls on the Monday after my birthday weekend, so today. I am feeling blue as usual. The reason for this is that the Fri/Sat/Sun closest to my birthday are when all my friends come up for a few days, and for many of them, this is the only time they visit Leeds in a year. Obviously there is a strong possibility I will meet up with some of them between now and next May but not all of us together like we just were. And I have the best time with them. I don't laugh ever as much as I laugh with those people on my birthday. They know me better than anyone and we are all so different yet at the same time so similar. It kills me that we all live so far apart and that our annual gathering is just the once in every 12 months. They only left 15 hours ago and I miss them already. We are all fairly disorganised so making it more regular always seems like a good idea but then it never seems to materialise. Booooo to them not all living here anymore, the traitors!

The wrong side of 25

So today is my 26th birthday and I woke up to a little song from Dave and this for my breakfast-

The whole weekend has been perfect, even though I do feel like I haven't slept since I got up on Friday morning. I got to hang out with Pippa (obv), Dave (obv), Laurie + Tom, Vicky + Ben, Rosie + Chris, Ross, Helen and Chris A. It was a super weekend, we have had meals out, danced like maniacs and caught up on an entire years worth of gossip (Chris getting married, Vicky's Mum becoming a cougar, Helen not securing an interview for her own job, Rosie joining the Labour party and so on and so forth). Most importantly we did the ole 7 Nation Army routine, followed by a conga and the Timewarp!
